G. Hyatt Construction completed a comprehensive renovation and addition to the Texas AFL-CIO headquarters in historic downtown Austin. The project modernized the existing facility while preserving its character and improving functionality for administrative and organizational use.
Scope of Work
The project included a full interior gut renovation along with building additions to expand usable space and improve operational efficiency. Work involved demolition, structural modifications, new interior construction, updated building systems, and finish improvements throughout the facility.
All major systems were upgraded, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems, to support long-term use while maintaining compatibility with the existing structure.
