Key Features
All fields and major site areas are supported by sports lighting systems designed for consistent illumination during tournament play and extended evening use. The batting cage facility features synthetic turf for durability and reduced maintenance.
The two-story concessions and restroom building provides increased capacity for large events, while the drive-through maintenance facility supports efficient storage and servicing of equipment.
Site infrastructure includes underground utilities, storm drainage systems, and paving designed for long-term performance and functionality.
Challenges & Solutions
Construction of multiple fields required precise coordination of grading, drainage, and irrigation systems to ensure consistent playing conditions. Installation of sports lighting involved coordination of foundations, electrical distribution, and site layout to optimize coverage and avoid conflicts with other improvements.
Renovation of the existing restroom facility required integrating new construction with existing structural components while maintaining consistency with the overall development.
Outcome
Upon completion, the Buda Sportsplex will provide a fully lighted, high-quality athletic complex capable of supporting tournament-level play and community recreation.
